Hello. I’m Scott Anderson, president and CEO of Zions Bank, and it’s my privilege to introduce you to the new host of Zions Bank “Speaking on Business” radio program: Chris Redgrave.
Chris comes to us following a 20-year career with the Bonneville Salt Lake Radio Group. She was vice president and general manager of the group, which includes top-ranked radio stations. She is the current chair of the Salt Lake Chamber Can-Do Coalition, a group dedicated to celebrating what’s right with Utah and strengthening the local and regional economy.
From 2008 to 2009, Chris became the second woman to chair the Salt Lake Chamber Board of Governors. During her term, she championed business solidarity through the economic downturn and streamlined operations by overhauling the chamber’s business development model and modifying the bylaws.
Last fall, Chris was named the 2009 Athena, a prestigious award presented annually to an active member of the Salt Lake Chamber. She was honored for demonstrating excellence, creativity and initiative in business, devoting time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community and for assisting women in reaching their full leadership potential.
In addition to her involvement with the business community, Chris is also connected with several community organizations. She’s a board member of the United Way Women’s Professional Philanthropic Network, Junior Achievement and the Utah Museum of Fine Arts. She is involved with the Hill Air Force Log Star program.
We are excited to welcome Chris to our Zions family and look forward to sharing her business knowledge and enthusiasm with the community. We also eagerly anticipate her work not only with “Speaking on Business” but also at various speaking engagements throughout Idaho and Utah.
