This is Rob Brough, Zions Bank, speaking on business.
At this time of year, I'm always glad to have a functioning furnace to keep me nice and warm. And in the sizzling days of summertime, my air conditioner is something I can hardly live without. Utah certainly does have variable weather. In any case, I'm always grateful for proper heating and cooling.
Tony Oakman is also well aware of the importance of suitable heating and cooling. His Salt Lake City company, Lee's Heating and Air Conditioning, sells and services both residential and commercial heating and air conditioning units. Within the commercial arena, the company also provides humidification and air purification units as well as energy audits and analyses.
About six years ago, Lee's was instrumental in helping start the trend of providing hybrid systems that switch between fossil fuels and electricity. The systems are more energy efficient, which in turn allows them to be more cost efficient. The process of installing such systems often includes sealing ductwork or improving insulation in someone's home. Tony pointed out that Lee's stands for Leaders in Energy-Efficient Systems to reflect the company's interest in the hybrid systems.
Tony says Lee's has a long history. Lee Folkerson founded the company in 1930. It was primarily a small refrigeration company located on State Street in Salt Lake City, and Lee built a reputation for quality and excellent service. In 1972, Lee handed the reigns of his company to his son, Richard, who diversified the business so it included both heating and air conditioning. Tony purchased the company from Richard in March 1995 with the goal of continuing to improve and develop the business.
Today, Lee's Heating and Air Conditioning is a profitable and well-known heating and air conditioning company. Tony is committed to delivering the best possible product and same-day service whenever possible.
For Zions Bank, I'm Rob Brough. I'm speaking on business.
