HAMILTON'S

January 19, 2010

This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

As you would expect in a college town, all the national fast-food chains seem to be in Logan. Cache Valley citizens don't lack places to eat, but it was obvious to Justin Hamilton that one thing lacked indeed — a high-end, fine-dining facility.

Justin had started Café Sabor in Logan, which was an immediate success. Buoyed by this positive experience, Justin decided to go the next step and open a restaurant with exceptional cuisine. He also wanted to satisfy the need for people who want to entertain customers or host special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays or weddings. Justin sought for an atmosphere that was elegant, but comfortable, as well as surroundings, cuisine and service that would satisfy customers wearing tuxedos, or jeans and boots.

Justin took off and traveled all over the United States. He visited every fine-dining steak house in the country. He took note of the "extra things" that contributed to a fine-dining experience. When he returned, he found a location, put together his business plan and hired an architect, and Hamilton's became a reality.

The restaurant has a full, open display kitchen and boasts a full bar with one of the most extensive wine lists in Cache County.

Justin spends hours training his servers. His chefs have backgrounds from the Culinary Institute of America, and John Williams of the Gastronomy Restaurant Group in Salt Lake City works with them regularly.

The restaurant only serves Stockyard Beef. Most fine steak houses in the country praise and use this purveyor. "Aging makes great beef," says Justin. "The beef on our menu is the finest you can buy."

Hamilton's also has seafood, pasta, chicken and a menu to satisfy all tastes and budgets. Logan now has one of the most beautiful fine-dining facilities in the Mountain West. Hamilton's is located at 2427 N. Main St. in Logan.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
