THE STUDIO PHOTOGRAPHERS

November 6, 2009

This is Fred Ball, Zions Bank, speaking on business.

It all started with a dream and a love for photography. Today that dream has turned into an actual photography business, the Studio Photographers, offering original and artistic portraiture that can be done in the beautiful studio or on location.

Pam Solomon has always loved what can be done with a camera, great lighting and an appropriate setting. She loves the opportunity to take a peek into someone's life to gain a better understanding of who they are and how to capture that on film. She spent 20 years working with great mentors who taught her the tricks of the trade. She started offering photography as a side business out of her home. But patrons were drawn to Pam's personalized service and quality work, and her customer base grew enough that she opened the Studio Photographers in Murray in 2008.

The Studio Photographers offers all types of fine photography. From bridals and weddings to high school seniors and children, Pam is happy to provide photos that skillfully portray a client. Portraits are made in sizes from small standards all the way to 60-inch gallery wraps. Pam also offers wedding albums that range from traditional print style to elaborate custom albums.

In addition to great portraiture, Pam also has make-up artists on hand to help clients searching for a different look or teams looking for uniformity. Patrons are drawn to her personalized service and way of making portraits unique to the person she's photographing. She is also talented at putting her subjects at ease so they feel comfortable while having their photo taken.

Pam tells me she has been doing photography for so long she's seen it transition from film to digital, from dark room to computer. This has given her a strong understanding of light and composition. She also recognizes that photography is an art that requires thought and principles. She has plans to continue growing the Studio Photographers and to eventually expand enough to have her own beautiful grounds for outdoor portraits.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
