LEEANNE B. LINDERMAN

July 1, 2008

This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

The Utah Bankers Association is meeting this week in Sun Valley, Idaho for its annual convention. This gathering marks the 100th birthday of the organization.

Over its century-long history, the UBA has selected top Utah bankers as its chairs. It is a highly prestigious honor to be chosen and is an indication of the capability and recognition of the person selected to serve.

LeeAnne B. Linderman, Zions Bank executive vice president, will be installed as the UBA chairwoman for 2008-2009 during this year's convention. She is the first woman in the organization's 100-year history to be selected for this important role.

LeeAnne is responsible for Zions Bank's 140-branch network and more than 1,300 employees in Utah and Idaho.

LeeAnne came to the banking profession after a very successful career in retailing. She held top potions with Atlanta-based Rich's Department Stores, and with the J. C. Penney Company in Georgia, Pennsylvania and Colorado. After working at Bank of America in California as a preferred Banking Officer, LeeAnne joined Zions Bank in 1992.

It is no surprise that she has received this honor because she is highly regarded and recognized for her sound leadership capabilities and her engaging and assuring personality.

Zions is also proud that Lynn Schodde from the Zions Bank Boise office will serve as vice-chair of the Idaho Banking Association for 2008 and 2009. He will take the chairmanship for Idaho at the annual convention in June 2009.

Congratulations, LeeAnne and Lynn. All of your friends at Zions Bank are so proud of this well-deserved recognition.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
