ROCKY MOUNTAIN COLLISION REPAIR

February 7, 2008

This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

I've always been an avid golfer. There's nothing like spending several refreshing hours out on the green. It can also be a great way to conduct business. Just ask Don Drage and Steve Reynolds - their entire company was planned while playing18 holes of golf.

Ten years ago both Don and Steve worked for a large car dealership in Salt Lake City. Don was a parts salesman while Steve managed the body shop. They started golfing on Saturdays with another colleague, but one week their colleague couldn't make it. Don, who knew Steve's background in auto body work, asked why he didn't start his own business.

Steve said he would never do it without a good partner, someone with high standards and an accounting background. In talking further, he discovered Don fit all the requirements he was looking for. Throughout their game, Don and Steve talked specifics about their venture such as location, how they would market themselves and finances.

Only a few months later, after including both their wives in the plan and establishing a location, they launched Rocky Mountain Collision Repair. They worked to make their shop unique and original with a welcoming lobby and professional look. Don and Steve say their ideas have revolutionized the body shop industry.

In their first year of business, they broke a million dollars in sales. That figure doubled their second year and has grown every year since. Rocky Mountain Collision Repair has also expanded from its original location in West Valley City to include stores in Sandy and Murray. Customer satisfaction is of the highest priority, and all Rocky Mountain employees are taught to meet or exceed clients' expectations.

Both Don and Steve are amazed at the growth in Rocky Mountain Collision Repair and say further expansion is possible. In the meantime, they plan to continue providing customers and insurance companies the highest level of service possible.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
