This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.
After working in corporate Information Technology for several years, Travis Cook noticed a pattern that many software projects were failing because of poor communication, inefficient process and other technical problems.
Travis saw a recurring need companies had: to correctly complete projects on time and on budget. He had always wanted to run his own business and the timing could not have been better. With his business partner and friend, Jason Thelin, the two officially incorporated Solution Stream in 1996; but it wasn't until 1999 that the company took off.
Solution Stream is a custom software engineering shop that builds applications for customers in and out of Utah. The American Fork-based company produces programming in dot-net, Java and Flash, but Travis says they can program in almost any Web technology available. Building software is a complicated process, but Solution Stream can get the job done with the right mix of technology, process and people.
Solution Stream engineers have the expertise to develop programs to clients' specifications. The software they design varies and is based on companies' individual needs. They know how to plan and carry out projects so they don't have to re-structure after the project is complete. A full team of designers is also available to produce exciting, usable Web sites for the graphic design portion of an application.
Solution Stream has programmed software for major corporations such as Franklin Covey, Valero Energy, Logo Works, Northrop Grumman and Xango. In the last year, the company has more than doubled in size, and this is directly attributable to the excellent employees and the depth of experience the company has to offer.
With 10 years of experience to draw from, Travis tells me Solution Stream clients can rest assured their custom software will be correctly completed in a timely manner.
For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
