This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.
Need advice on expanding your business? Need help updating a business plan? Zions Bank's brand new Business Resource Center is ready to assist you in your success.
The bank has created a central location where you can find tools and information to answer your business questions. The Salt Lake Center, which opens today on 310 S. Main Street, includes a publications library, computer workstations and knowledgeable staff ready to assist you in your business endeavors. To complement the center, Zions also provides online resources at ZionsBank.com.
The best part? It's a free service Zions offers to the business community. Cece Mitchell, Business Resource Center manager, says the Center aims to help boost individual businesses and the state's overall economic development.
The Center will help match businesses with the resources they need to grow or to solve a problem. For example, if a business owner wants to improve his accounting practices, Cece says the Center can help him set up accounting software and refer him to organizations that can provide expert help.
Zions Bank has partnered with organizations like the Governor's Office of Economic Development and the Small Business Administration to offer upcoming seminars and classes.
Cece tells me another goal of the new Business Resource Center is to help place Utah businesses on the international business map. The Center offers information on financing international business and provides resources for international marketing.
The Zions Bank Business Resource Center, open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., will save you time and money with a wealth of information all in one place. A public open house will be tomorrow on the mezzanine level of the JC Penney building on 310 S. Main Street, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
